Born 1947. Mike has considerable background in property, finance and banking, and was Executive Chairman of AIM-listed Pubs 'n' Bars plc for 5 years until 2005.
Appointed Non-Exec Director of Playgolf in 2006, appointed Executive Chairman of Playgolf in May 2007.
Responsibilities:
Investor relations; leadership of the Board, reviewing and evaluating its performance, its Committees, and individual Directors; ensuring effective communication within the Board and with shareholders; setting the Board agenda through the Company Secretary; ensuring all members receive accurate and timely information.

Born 1962. Educated at Ampleforth College. Set up Playgolf in 1995 after an early career in commercial property (Nelson Bakewell) and the sports business (CPMA and the PGA). Married since 1985 to Jo with three sons, Alexander, Jamie and Ben. Hobbies are, perhaps not surprisingly, centred on sport.
Responsibilities:
Developing and delivering the Company Strategic Plan, brand, products and new developments; sourcing and negotiating new development opportunities; overseeing the daily management of the business; development and maintenance of the Company’s key external partnerships with Government, Local Authorities, Sports Governing Bodies, Developers and Operational partners; responsible for City/Investor relations (together with the Executive Chairman).

Neil was appointed Finance Director of Playgolf Holdings in May 2007. He has worked for Kilmartin Property Group as Group Finance Director for the past eight years and managed a £600 million portfolio of commercial property throughout the UK. Additionally he runs a consulting business which provides part-time financial director services to a number of property clients both in the UK and abroad.
Previous roles included Finance Director of Four Seasons Healthcare Plc, managing 37 nursing homes and 1,500 staff, plus Finance Manager for Miller Developments, the commercial development arm of the Miller Group.
Responsibilities:
Overall supervision of the finance and accounting function of the business; preparation and monitoring of financial performance against plans and budgets; strategic financial planning and management; taxation and banking facilities; financial controls over the group’s income and expenditure; producing accurate and timely financial information; member of both Remuneration and Audit committees.

David has a very strong background in construction and property project management. After working in the construction industry for 15 years he moved into property development and worked for a multi-national commercial property developer. There, David was responsible for the delivery of multiple simultaneous projects, the largest being a £21m project delivered in 46 weeks.
He joined Playgolf as a consultant in August 2004, primarily to deliver the Northwick Park Project, and became a Board member in June 2007.
Responsibilities:
All issues relating to property planning, project management, tenancies, services; new projects - feasibility, budgets, procurement, delivery; looking after property portfolio as it expands.

Born 1972. Jimmy was appointed as Commercial Director of Playgolf Holdings plc in May 2007 after joining the company in July 2006 as General Manager of Playgolf Northwick Park.
Previous roles include Director of Events for World Sport Group, responsible for the delivery and implementation of over 100 professional sports events in Asia from 1996-2003; followed by a role in the successful London 2012 Olympic Bid team as Senior Corporate Relations Manager; subsequently acting as a consultant for BT’s UK sports sponsorship programme.
Responsibilities:
Overall supervision and day to day operation of all sites; promotion, sales, PR, advertising and marketing; liaison with franchise partners; staff management at all sites; operating profit at all sites.

Ted Wainman spent 6 years with Ernst & Young, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA), acting as an Audit Manager in the Financial Services Sector. He then joined JPMorgan where he spent 3 years as a Group Financial Controller and Senior Business Analyst, before being promoted to Vice President of the European Internet Marketing Team. He then spent the next 3 years developing the online presence of the company and integrating the online and offline marketing campaigns. During this time he completed a company-sponsored MBA.
When not working in the Playgolf world, Ted spends most of his time as a Business Trainer delivering a wide variety of training courses – specialising in Finance, but covering a range of softer skills from Leadership & Management to Negotiation & Communication Skills. When he is not training, Ted is also a Director of Doubletake Studios – a photographic business with a turnover of £6m and a staff of over 100.

Alan Montgomery has considerable experience in both the sports and entertainments industry having previously sat on the Board of Glasgow Rangers Football Club plc, where he managed a staff of 30 people as well as establishing the first professional commercial management team. He was also Finance Director at Scottish Television plc, where he gained experience in all aspects of managing a commercial television company.
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants (FMCA), Alan's role at Playgolf (Holdings) Plc is as an independent non exec.

William Frewen is a financial entrepreneur. Educated at Ampleforth and Oxford, he pursued a twenty-year city career in investment banking at firms including Credit Suisse First Boston, JP Morgan and Nomura. A serial investor in start-up situations, Mr Frewen is a director of a number of companies. He first invested in Playgolf in 2000 and was Non-Executive Chairman when Playgolf was listed on AIM in 2004.
